I recommend not using autoclickers, not using one makes it more fun.

I really loved the idea of the game, it's really joyful with no complicated elements. The laser gets me everytime
very good Idea, very fun. Like the music. The gameplay offers new aspects frequently so it doesnt get boring. Bulle thell with the mouse cursor is fun to play, because u can react quickly.
Really fun game, you were able to put in a ton of polish for a pretty simple concept.

Wow, 30 minutes just flew by! I just quit the game, and wow—it’s really dynamic! It keeps you wanting to play and improve your score. For real, I just got 200 points, which is my personal best. I don’t know if there’s more content beyond this, but man, the difficulty is well-balanced. Maybe some upgrades could make things a bit easier.

the issue with the upgrades is that : I don't think I have enough time for it (brackeys game jam), I don't plan on working on this game after the game jam (maybe I will tho) and I don't know how to implement a shop system or/and an upgrade system while it still fits the vibe of the game

good luck! I recommend not focusing too much on clicking when you are further in, as long as you get rid of the monster that eats away your points and that you get a good amount of clicks, you'll get a pretty high score

This is an amazing idea! I have only recently started game development and i figured this jam would be a good place to learn some things. I have been looking through the submissions and this is nuts! I can't even imagine in my beginner mind how you did this.
Glitch where you can tap through the ads

I know, I wanted to fix it but unfortunately I couldn't find any ways to do it and every way I thought of were too complicated (using raycasting to disable the button etc). That's why I added that you crash when you have too much ads, only way to make them dangerous.
Try something like this. It does work for me.
ColorRect blocks the pressed() signal. Because it has some king of mouse filter. You could put it under the ads, so it is not visible.
Should I use this to make the button for the ads? A problem is that if I have to use color rect for ads I'll have to recreate most of the ad's movement systems

Don't put it under the ads. You can put it in the ads, but it should be behind the image file (or make the Z-Index lower).
It works, but come to think of it, the gameplay feels so much weird with the ads, I often keep clicking till there's 2 ads or more. I don't think i'll add it, but thank you so much because this will probably help me a lot in other games

Cool game, tbh I like how theres no tutorial, and you're left with a button to click, it increases the theme factor of nothing could possibly go wrong, making you think its an ordinary game, but the "click space" to restart should be a bit more noticeable in my opinion, took me a bit. But looks great! Love music btw.
I'll go fix that, also music is made by +PEK and it's called "The Rat Race", really saved my life, it took me 2 whole days to find a music
